Mawsons is a family owned and operated company that upholds traditional family values. Our staff are recognised within our industry and community as being friendly, well-trained, skilful, resourceful and highly motivated. People who work for Mawsons enjoy great working conditions within a high trust culture. However, this culture has not happened by accident.
During the mid 1990s, after Mawsons had acquired several businesses, it became apparent that we needed to articulate the culture and values that had made the company successful over many years. We needed to train and induct new employees to our growing business. Mawsons adopted “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” training program to help us induct our new employees and existing staff to a common sense approach to management. The program is based on developing the leadership quality that lies within each individual and creating a high level of trust working environment. The foundational principles which are taught are used within all aspects of our business. Since its inception over one hundred members of staff and members of the community, including customers have completed the course.
We will continue to invest our time in our staff because we know that they are our future.
