Blue Hills Quarry Update
At the start of 2025, The Department of Transport and Planning formally accepted the referral package for the proposed Blue Hills Quarry. This marks the commencement of the assessment process to determine whether an Environment Effects Statement (EES) is required under the Environment Effects Act 1978
Now in June 2026, we have established our draft scoping requirements for priority studies and reports for this EES and these have been prepared by DTP and will be on public exhibition from 19 June to 10 July 2026. These can be viewed at Engage Victoria.
